Transportation from Airport
Participants flying in to New England can arrive at either Boston's (Massachusetts) Logan International Airport or Providence's (Rhode Island) T. F. Green airport. Woods Hole is approximately 85 miles (136 km) from each airport. It would be useful to rent a car from either airport as this will also help with local transportation in and around Woods Hole.Bus service is available from Boston's Logan Airport or Providence's T. F. Green airport on Peter Pan Bus Lines http://www.peterpanbus.com/
If you elect to take the bus from Logan Airport, the first bus leaves at 0930 and the last at 1930. It is a 2 hour, 10 minute trip to Woods Hole by bus from Boston. If you elect to take the bus from T. F. Green airport, the first bus leaves at 1145 and the last at 1945. The bus pickup at T. F. Green airport is by baggage claim, in front of the bus sign. It is a 2 hour trip to Woods Hole by bus from Providence. The local stop in Woods Hole is Steam Ship Authority, close to the Sands of Time Hotel and the National Academies' Jonsson Center.
